Early copies of Chaser + Fine AF Friday

Hey Bookish Boo!

I'm opening up my list again for Advance Review Copy (ARC) Readers for Chaser! To be an ARC Reader you simply need to sign up, read Chaser and write a review of it on your favorite platform for books within 10 days of its release i.e. Amazon, BookBub, or

GoodReads. If you use social media, it always helps an author to post what you're reading and your thoughts. ARC readers help spread the word about new books via reviews and word of mouth. If you happen to have a bookstagram, podcast etc, I've got a special section where if you're interested in doing a live we can collaborate, same for book clubs!

If you have signed up previously for the Chaser ARC, your information is still recorded. Those who signed up to BETA read Chaser will also get the opportunity for an ARC. If any of your information has changed since sign up, go ahead and fill out a new form.

Quick reminder, TODAY is the last day to vote Heartbeat for Best Interracial Book by a Black Author for the It's Lit! Literary Book Awards. You may have to log into your gmail to have your vote recorded.

Don't forget the TONS of free and discounted books from fellow author friends listed below!

Hugs and Cheers,

This Week's Featured Reads:

Single and pregnant at eighteen was not what I had planned for my life, but after my fiancé skipped town on our wedding day, I had no choice. When his best man handed me the goodbye note, I thought my life was over.

Three years later, his best man is now my best friend. My family likes him. My daughter adores him. And me? Well, I’m hopelessly in love with him. Too bad I can never tell him how I feel.

A drunken kiss after our friend’s birthday party threatens to reveal my secret. I have two choices: confess my feelings for him or pretend I was too wasted to remember. Lying could mean missing out on a future with the man I love. Telling the truth could ruin our friendship forever. Should I play it safe or risk it all for our happily ever after?

Mackenzie is my best friend's little sister. Off-limits in more ways than one. But I spent my football career bending the rules... and she's too tempting to resist.

I should know better than to fall for Mackenzie Cavanaugh. She’s the one who got me hooked on romance novels in the first place, and it should have been clear when my favorite stories revolved around the “best friend’s little sister” and "dating in secret" plot lines… But I’ve read enough of these stories to know it doesn’t usually turn out so well.

Mackenzie isn’t just Miles’s sister, though; she’s my friend in her own right, and her overprotective brother’s objections shouldn’t be enough to keep us apart. No mater how much he tries.

My football career is over, so now the rest of my life can begin. My focus has pivoted from surviving every day to thriving in real life. At the end of this school year, I’m going to pick up and move across the country for grad school—where I’ll end up, I’m not sure, I just know that it probably won’t be here.

FUMBLE is a college sports romance best friend's sister romance featuring a secret relationship, two introverted bookworms, a virgin heroine, and a celibate-by-choice football player.

Hey Bookish Boo! There is always a lot of conversation among readers about cringey words we romance authors use in our books. The conversation mostly revolves around 🐓 vs 🍆, but some influencers have whole lists of words they don't want to see 🤣. I know it frustrates some authors, but mostly I just laugh because honestly, if we stopped using the all suggested words our books would be blank LOL! I don't have words that make me cringe but I get eye twitchy at words used incorrectly in books....

Hey Bookish Boo! What are your favorite love songs? If you're read any of my books you know I love a playlist. Sometimes a song will inspire a whole scene, sometimes I scroll endlessly through music looking for the right song that goes with a particular moment. For Heartbeat, "Creep" by Radiohead became the theme song for the villain of the story, if Griffin appeared in a scene that scene was annotated with a cover of "Creep" that fit the mood. With Fingertips I heard Beyonce's song...

Hey Bookish Boo! I've been busy with my training for my husband's home dialysis and in between machine beeps and manuals I saw a post on social media from a romance reader that wished romance novels didn't always have happy endings. And not the smutty kind.😜 She said "because life doesn't always have a happy ending." *Terreece slides into frame dragging a large, ceremonial soap box up a large hill. Climbs on top, clears throat.* "ROMANCE NOVELS MUST HAVE A HAPPY ENDING OR THEY ARE NOT ROMANCE...
